Bio Oko

Located in the gallery-filled neighborhood of Holešovice is the art house theater Bio Oko.

This popular venue is situated in a retro style tile building and boasts an equally retro-cool interior. The Bio Oko theater has been completely renovated and boasts a large bi-level screening hall that is complete with comfy common movie seats, beach chairs, bean bag chairs, and even an old Trabant convertible. Sitting in the vehicle is very popular, so if you have your heart set on a “drive-in” movie experience just make sure you are the first in line. Bio Oko shows old international and Czech classics, art house independent flicks, international blockbusters, student films, films for children, a “blind date” movie night where visitors have no idea what they will be viewing until the lights are dimmed, and much more.
