Místo is located in the sought after residential area of Dejvice and features a lovely interior that is a pleasant combination of calming wood, sleek concrete, and colorful graphics. This cafe serves Doubleshot Coffee and is among other cafes in Prague which do so as well (Alza Cafe, Můj šálek kávy). Doubleshot was founded by two coffee aficionados in order to show the Czech market and its coffee drinkers the true potential of specialty coffee, its richness and undiscovered possibilities. Doubleshot Coffee is purchased directly from coffee farmers (from Costa Rica, Panama, Columbia, Kenya, Ethiopia, El Salvador, etc.) and then roasted locally with the utmost care and attention. At Místo you can sample different types of coffee drinks made lovingly with Doubleshot Coffee, including espresso drinks (espresso shot, cappuccino, latte, macchiato, etc.), filter coffee and signature coffee drinks. Coffee lovers can also enjoy the “Tasting Flight” which provides you with three different samples of coffee. If coffee’s not your thing, Místo offers a selection of lovely teas, hot chocolate, homemade sodas & juices, beer (a selection of Czech microbrews), wine and more. Místo offers breakfast, lunch and dinner – the menu offers classic dishes (think scrambled eggs) alongside more exotic plates (Watermelon Salad – with feta cheese, kumato tomatoes and lime-mint dressing & a delectable Pork Tagine served with chickpeas and couscous, etc.). Reservations are recommended and can be made online one day in advance.
