The TaK studio was established in 2002 by a group of architects and engineers who had been working together for several years. Thanks to a large amount of experience and a strong team, the TaK studio offers a wide spectrum of complex services in the field of architecture and urbanism, projects guidance or cost management. The TaK studio team believes that a new house is a joint endeavor. And the result of this joint endeavor must be pleasing for both the studio and their clients. This kind of attitude reflects in all the implemented projects of the studio, ranging from public projects, such as the Vaclav Havel Library, the historic building of the Masaryk railway station and the Škoda palace, to apartment buildings. No wonder the studio reaps many forms of success – Building of the year 2005 for the project of Pachta’s palace and Jirásek’s house in Prague, Best of reality 2007 for the project of “House at the Golden Angel” and more. In 2016, the Volman Villa renovation won the Building of the Year / Special Panel Award.
