Hoffman Atelier

The Hoffman Atelier architecture studio is where the love for the industrial and unusual materials blends with projects that, thanks to their uniqueness, reach beyond their original concept.

The Prague-based studio was established in 2006 by Czech architect Patrik Hoffman who has been leading it successfully ever since. The list of the projects designed and realized by this studio includes some bold, impressive structures that have been praised both by professionals and the general public. Among them are, for example, the Czech Post Office on the top of Mount Sněžka, the award-winning structure of the Aparthotel Lípa in Krásná Lípa (Building of the Year 2013) and, last but not least, Uhelný Mlýn (Coal Mill) and Kotelna (Boiler Room), a unique archipelago of industrial buildings in Libčice nad Vltavou. Set in an abandoned Central Bohemian area, this evocative complex was established through a complete renovation of an original coal mill. What is more, Patrik Hoffman created there a new cultural and social hub full of design, modern art, various events and good energy, a combination for which people flock from all around the country. For the restoration & renovation of Uhelný mlýn, Patrik Hoffman won several prestigious awards, including the Architecture Grand Prix for 2013. In case you are considering building or reconstructing a family house, a summer house, a chalet, a studio, etc., do not hesitate to contact the Hoffman Atelier. You will work with a professional team led by an innovative architect who welcomes all clients with complicated tasks, challenges and demanding expectations. The studio offers a complete spectrum of projects & architecture services and engages in urbanism as well.
