The Batoušek Studio, founded by Academy of Arts, Architecture, and Design in Prague (VŠUP) graduate Ondřej Batoušek, deals with the production and development of small-series porcelain.

Ondřej Batoušek's porcelain and ceramics are characterized by a unique playfulness with shapes, which promises a rich artistic experience. Ondřej Batoušek believes in the idea of handmade porcelain with a “face“. All of this he accomplishes without using industrial machines, rather using tried-and-true methods that are hundreds of years old, which he combines in an unmistakeably unique and legible combination of material and details. The uniqueness of the studio's products is thanks mainly to its respect and care for each original porcelain cast, from the formation of the idea to the finished product. Ondřej Batoušek has presented his unique work at many exhibitions, and in 2011 he was nominated for the Czech Grand Design Award in the Discovery of the Year category. His products are available in Prague's Harddecore Gallery, Leporelo+ and The Chemistry Gallery. In the future the studio plans to expand both the number of products made and materials used, as well as to discover new fields, to create permanent designs with an overlap, and to continue to get happiness from giving joy to others.
