More about PORT7

Wikov Industry, a leading Czech manufacturer of gearboxes and designer glass, will move into premises on the fourth floor of the Dover building at the beginning of October 2023. Their new corporate headquarters will be spread out over 695 sq. m. of office space, which will be designed by the renowned Perpektiv architectural studio. The lease agreement also includes 130 sq. m. of parking and storage space.

“The client contacted us to let us know that they would like to remain in Prague 4,” says Petra Schinkmannová, senior property consultant at Svoboda & Williams, who represented Wikov during lease negotiations. However, PORT7 made such an impression on the company’s management that they decided to relocate there. “Next to the excellent and interesting architectural design of the complex, what also tipped the scales in PORT7’s favor was first and foremost its location, great transport accessibility, and the unique atmosphere of the Vltava riverfront. Also, the industrial character of this new development perfectly reflects the company’s business“ adds Schinkmannová.

“I am thrilled that our collaboration with Svoboda & Williams has resulted in another tenant finding their perfect new home in our remarkable Port7 project in Holešovice. Thanks to the professional approach of the Svoboda & Williams team, we were able to find common ground and smoothly finalize the negotiations. I eagerly anticipate our next joint journey, where we will warmly welcome new companies to the Port7 project. With our effective approach, we are gaining satisfied tenants and our partnership continues to thrive. I extend my special thanks to Petra Schinkmannová from Svoboda & Williams, who played a crucial role as the driving force behind the transaction and proved to be an excellent counterpart and partner throughout the negotiations,” says Marek Pikaň, Leasing Negotiator at Skanska's commercial development business unit in CEE.

The campus-style complex, the construction of which was started by Skanska in February 2021, features 7 interconnected towers with terraces. Once finished as planned in the second quarter of 2023, it will offer over 35,000 sq. m. of office space in three of the towers.
