Work on the total reconstruction of the Italská 8 Residence is continuing according to plan. The apartments on the second to the fifth floors received final approval in January.
The Italská 8 Residence is a painstakingly renovated typical Vinohrady apartment building located in a popular area between náměstí Míru Square and Riegrovy sady Park. Spread out over six floors, it will offer 24 one-bedroom units and one two-bedroom apartment. Clients can select between three types of interiors, each of which will include oak floors, wooden doors, wooden casement windows, and brand-named sanitary ware in the bathrooms.

Construction work on the Pálavská brána residential project is proceeding according to plan. All of the houses now have roofs and windows. Interior partition walls are currently being installed and the rough construction phase is only one step away from being complete.
The Pálavská brána residential project offers a total of fifteen single-story houses, each of which will come with a private rooftop terrace and an adjoining garden. All of the houses have three-bedroom layouts and will be completed to a standard that includes ceramic tiles, brand-name sanitary ware in the bathrooms, triple-glazed insulated windows, and underfloor heating. Since the houses are being built in a sought-after recreational area, owners can use them as a pleasant primary residence or vacation home, but they are also a great investment opportunity.
The developer has estimated that the project will receive final approval in Q2 of 2021.

The Svoboda & Williams real estate agency has received an exclusive instruction to sell the apartments in the Mánesova 78 residential project in Vinohrady. This thoroughly reconstructed corner Late Art Nouveau building is situated only a few steps from Jiřího z Poděbrad Square. The project received final approval in November 2020.
The idea behind the Mánesova 78 residential project was to combine its historic, typical Vinohrady architecture with contemporary design and premium facilities. Spread out over six above-ground floors, it offers 28 apartments with layouts from studios to two-bedrooms. Five spacious apartments with floor areas from 82 sq. m. to 156 sq. m. occupy the seventh and eighth floors. In the past several months, work on the foundation piles of the BERLITA apartment building finished and foundation concrete is currently being poured. The casting of the foundation slab is scheduled for the second half of January.
The BERLITA residential project is emerging in a peaceful part of Beroun that borders the historic center on one side and the confluence of the Berounka and Litavka rivers on the other. The apartment building will consist of two connected wings that together will offer 61 studio to three-bedroom units. The highest floor is reserved for generously apportioned rooftop penthouses.
The BERLITA residential project is scheduled to be completed in Q2 2022. The developer of the project is VENUS INVESTMENT GROUP.

In the middle of December, Svoboda & Williams introduced its online magazine Selected, thereby entering the premium media segment. The new magazine will feature quality content that will acquaint readers with high-end brands, experiences, and real estate. Selected’s website is the work of Biceps Digital, a leading web design and development studio.
Svoboda & Williams created Selected Magazine with the ambition to become the leading authority on luxury living and the place for clients of the premium segment to get information in the Czech and Slovak online media space. Its editor-in-chief is Tomáš Otta, whose twenty-five-year career in journalism includes a stint as the editor-in-chief of ForMen. “Selected is an oasis in the media world. Readers can spend time here every day and find an expertly curated mix of information, from exclusive new products, authentic experiences, to inspirational tips from top professionals in various fields,” says Otta.
Selected is hosted on Svoboda & Williams’ website as well as on its own domain: selectedmag.cz. The online magazine was designed by Biceps Digital, who worked closely with Natalie Kuznetsová, Marketing Director at Svoboda & Williams. “Our goal is to offer quality content that reflects its online form of communication. Last but not least, we want it to be a place that supports talented artists, designers, and brands,” says Kuznetsová. Rudolf Matějček, Creative Director of Biceps Digital, had this to say about working with Svoboda & Williams: “Selected Magazine is a bold project in the domestic Czech market in terms of both style and content. We wanted to give as much space as possible to the strong content when we were designing the visual appearance of the magazine.”
For now, Selected is purely an online magazine, but next year we are planning to publish it in print on a biannual basis and distribute it directly to readers.

Svoboda & Williams is launching the sale of energy-efficient houses in the Pálavská brána residential project, which will stand on the western edge of the South Moravian village of Brod nad Dyjí. The houses will benefit from their location in a popular recreational destination right by the Mušov Lakes, and are therefore ideally suited both as a permanent residence or vacation home.
Once completed, the Pálavská brána project will offer fifteen single-story homes that are designed to blend seamlessly with the South Moravian landscape. Each house will have a two-bedroom layout with a private garden and a rooftop terrace with panoramic views of the countryside. The houses are also perfectly located—the sun reflecting off of the surface of the Mušov Lakes on one side and the picturesque Pavlov Hills on the other. Typical South Moravian vineyards stretch out as far as the eye can see.
In September, concrete foundation slabs were laid, rough construction of one third of the houses has been completed, and lintels are currently being installed. The developer has set the expected final approval date for spring 2021.
