Farmhouse estate

The majestic Santa Elena ranch estate in Luján, Argentina consists of a luxurious resort surrounded by natural beauty and impressive gardens, with productive agricultural, stockbreeding, and forestry lands.

Adjacent to the Luján River, the 20th century estate is only 75 km from Buenos Aires and currently has areas designated for agriculture, forestry, bovine, and sheep breeding. It is, however, also suitable for a broad variety of uses (urban development, tourism & hotel services, leisure, recreation, social/ corporate events).

The main house was constructed in 1943 and resembles an Anglo-Norman castle. It is set on a small hill, which provides lovely views of the surrounding gardens. The basement of the house (565 sq. m.) features a kitchen, a scullery, cold storage, a pantry, a wine cellar, a laundry room, housekeeping quarters, bathrooms, and more. The ground floor (870 sq. m.) has a grand entrance and reception hall and three interconnected halls that overlook the great veranda (329 sq. m.); the veranda is an ideal place for enjoying gorgeous sunsets over the fields and forests. Furthermore, this floor has a guest apartment suite, a living room, another kitchen, a dining room, and two powder rooms. The upper level (500 sq. m.) has 15 bedrooms, including the master bedroom (w/ a fireplace, bathroom, dressing room, separate private office & reading area). The attic (385 sq. m.) has an additional 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, and the best views the estate has to offer. High quality materials were used throughout. All the floors, the roof, staircases, and ornamental decorations are hardwood and in excellent condition.

The estate has an Art Nouveau style chapel with extraordinary stained-glass windows, situated less than 100 meters from the main house. It can seat 50 people and has the necessary authorization for religious ceremonies.
The estate grounds feature a stable and a warehouse (200 sq. m.), 14 hectares of strategically designed gardens that surround the main house (w/ plants and trees brought from different parts of the world), 400 hectares of lush forests with seven interconnected lagoons, a clay tennis court, and a semi-Olympic swimming pool (25m/82ft x 12.5m/41ft) with a small building (60 sq. m.) (w/ dressing rooms, bathrooms, and an open lounge area).
