About the project The architects from the BY architects studio undertook the task of refurbishing this early 20th century building. They approached the originalcraftsmanshipelements with the utmost respect, restoring them to their original beauty, and bravely set about harmonizing them with contemporarymaterials, colors, and moderntechnology. On its street-facing side, the building has retained its historical character, while the inner courtyard has opened up and let in plenty of daylight through large windows without sills. The restored historicstonestaircase is complemented by a modern elevator.
Apartments Ten one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments guarantee a cozy atmosphere, and there are only 2 units on each floor. Floor areas vary between 45 sq. m. and 80 sq. m. The two apartments on the lowest floor come with privategardens, while the rest have a larger or smaller terrace. The premium facilities in the interiors include oak parquet floors in a herringbone pattern, WOW designer hexagon tiles, designer sanitary ware, security wooden panel entrance doors, and double-wing panel and full rebated interior doors, all with brasshandles and magneticlocks. Windows are wooden with insulated double-glazed panes; the surface of the terraces is made of larchwood. Larger apartments come with a storage room.
Location A magical place in Prague 6 in the immediate vicinity of the Tejnka monument zone and near Hradčany.
