Londýnská 54 and 56, which includes 31 elegant, high-standard apartments with southwest-facing windows towards the street and a quiet courtyard, with balconies or terraces, is a residential project on the border of New Town and Vinohrady district, in a distinctive and architecturally significant Functionalist building that was formerly the headquarters of the Vinohrady Savings Bank. About the project
The seven-story corner Functionalist palace, which was completed in 1933 according to the designs of architects Václav Vejrych and Kotěra's pupil Jaroslav Kabeš, has recently been expensively reconstructed, including both common areas and interiors, thanks to which a total of 31 residential units were created. The building is characterized by a quarter-circle corner between two bay pylons, rounded balconies on five floors, and is crowned by a terrace. The QUADRATA architectural studio, which is behind the redesign of the building, has set itself the goal of maintaining its original concept, which will also meet current requirements for modern living. One of the modern additions will be a glass elevator.

Apartments
A total of 31 units were created in the building: 2 x studio; 3 x 1-bedroom; 8 x 2-bedroom; 13 x 3-bedroom; 3 x 4-bedroom; 1 x 5-bedroom. Most units will have a balcony or terrace, and cellar storage units can be purchased. The two largest apartments are on offer in white walls state, the others are completed. Standard facilities include wooden lacquered hardwood double-layer floors laid in a tree pattern with a white skirting board, large-format tiles and Graniti Fiandre tiles in a natural stone decor, Hansgrohe sanitary ware, Vitra bathroom fittings, security entrance doors, interior doors with concealed hinges, wooden thermal insulated Euro-windows with double-glazed panes (triple-glazed on the 6th floor), or a videophone. Heating and hot water will be provided by a central boiler.

Location
Náměstí Míru Square with the Church of St. Ludmila, the beautifully landscaped Grébovka, Riegrovy Sady, and Čelakovského Sady parks, and the National Museum—all are within walking distance. Public transport is easy to use as the I. P. Pavlova metro station and tram stops are practically right by the building. A "D" line metro station will eventually be created within walking distance. The neighborhood is full of restaurants, cafes, and shops, but also theaters and other cultural institutions. Another advantage is the wide selection of excellent schools.
