Konírna Vimperk: Housing With a Unique Atmosphere in the Šumava Foothills

Konírna Vimperk was designed to provide spacious family living. The residential building accommodates only 7 semi-detached houses with floor areas from 90 m² to 197 m² and two-bedroom and three-bedroom layouts. The largest apartment has five bedrooms. The building was originally a stable established by the Schwarzenberg noble family, who owned Vimperk Castle for almost two hundred years. Its complete reconstruction preserves the building’s original historical character defined by stone walls, arched ceilings, and exposed beams. Its unique character will be enhanced by contemporary comforts such as underfloor heating, air-conditioning, and the possibility to use solar panels.
