Domácí péče (Home Care) Coproduced by Svoboda & Williams is Czech Republic's Official Selection for Oscars

The Czech Film and Television Academy has selected the Domácí péče (Home Care) movie, coproduced by Svoboda & Williams, as the country's official contender for the Oscars. The directorial debut of Slávek Horák starring Bolek Polívka, Alena Mihulová, Tatiana Vilhelmová, Zuzana Kronerová and others will fight for an Oscar in the Best Foreign Language Film category.
Domácí péče (Home Care) has been selected out of altogether 39 Czech feature movies, documentaries and animated films to represent Czech cinema at the 88th Academy Awards. The movie entered Czech cinemas in July 2015 and has been warmly received by audiences as well as critics both in the Czech Republic and abroad. It is also of interest to note that Alena Mihulová received the Best Actress Award at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival for her work in the film.
