Prague to Berlin

Berlin – one of the most dynamic urban places in Europe and Germany's largest city, Berlin is one of the most exciting, cosmopolitan places to visit in Europe.

With history at your fingertips in Berlin you will not want for sights. The city offers such a varied array of world class museums that will simply take your breath away, for example, the Pergamon Museum that houses one of the most important collections of classical art in the world, showcasing several jaw dropping reconstructed monuments including the Gate of Ishtar from Babylon and the Pergamon Altar. Other amazing museums include the Alte Nationalgalerie (Old National Gallery), Bode Museum, Neues Museum (New Museum, home to the Egyptian Museum of Berlin), the Bauhaus Archive Museum, and the Checkpoint Charlie Museum. If museums do not interest you, you can then explore all of the other sights that Berlin has to offer such as the Brandenburg Gate, Berlin TV Tower, Reichstag Building and dome, Berlin Cathedral, remnants of the Berlin Wall and the evocative Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe. Berlin has such a wealth of sights but that is not all – this multi cultural city has a dynamic dining, music and entertainment scene and grand shopping to boot – ranging from world-known fashion houses to local designers selling their eccentric goods at hip flea markets. If all of this isn't enough to get you to Berlin today, we don't know what is! Berlin is served by two major airports, the Berlin Tegel Airport (set to close in the near future once Berlin Brandenburg Airport opens; Brandenburg Airport is currently under construction) and the Berlin Schönefeld Airport and one major train station, the Berlin Hauptbahnhof. Of course driving to Berlin is pleasant as it is not too far, or alternatively you can take a bus from Prague.
