It was completely renovated in 2020 and 2022–23. The house is perfectly insulated, thanks to which it meets the parameters of a very energy-efficient building. The place is unbelievably quiet and peaceful, and the house is only accessed by a road with no entry. Nothing can be built in the vicinity as there is a protected area and a bird reserve. This beautiful place is part of Frýdava, which is located opposite the town of Frymburk accessible by ferry. In winter, it is possible to use the surrounding cross-country trails, the nearby ski areas, or the Lipno ice highway.
