Founded in 1905 and considered to be one of the most prestigious tennis clubs in Prague and the Czech Republic, TK Sparta Praha is home to many of the biggest names in Czech tennis, including 2012 Davis Cup winner Radek Štěpánek.

With famous faces being commonplace, and big-name trainers with international experience cluttering up the place, its no wonder that TK Sparta Praha is the best and brightest, and regularly produces new stars and is the best place for promising young players to achieve glory. Luckily, among all of the fame, the atmosphere is friendly and beginners are welcomed. As one of the National Tennis Centers, TK Sparta Praha tennis club has excellent world-class facilities including 12 clay courts, one artificial grass hard court, one hard court covered in Decoturf, the official surface used for the US Open, and 2 further hard courts with an Ultra Cushion surface. Players can also choose between 9 indoor courts, and a fully-equipped fitness center in the winter. The Academy, affiliated with Prince premium tennis equipment, offers full service to professional players and a full range of training to members of the public of all ages, as well as tennis and training camps in cooperation with other Prince-affiliated academies. International players are welcome.
