The I. Czech Lawn-Tennis Club Prague (I. ČLTK) is a tennis club which can be proud of its over one hundred years of tradition. This tennis club, located on Prague's Štvanice Island, was founded in 1893 and even today it is one of the most prestigious tennis clubs in Prague and indeed in the whole of the Czech Republic.


The I. ČLTK Prague offers 13 outdoor clay courts, one court featuring a hard Rebound Ace surface, and two indoor courts. In winter players have ten indoor courts at their disposal. The central court, with its capacity of 8,000 spectators, is used regularly for various tennis competitions. The general public can rent outdoor courts on week days from morning hours till 3 p.m. and during the entire day on weekends. Besides tennis courts, players at the Štvanice tennis club can also schedule individual training sessions with a professional tennis coach. Club members can take advantage of an outdoor swimming pool, a relaxation area with sauna, whirlpool and massage service, and a fitness center which underwent a complete reconstruction in 2009 and now offers a treadmill, exercise bikes, and an elliptical trainer by Kettler and Grün Sport fitness equipment. All year long the Full Swing golf simulator is available for both club members (who have a 20% discount) and the general public at the Štvanice Tennis Club. The club restaurant serves up well-prepared international cuisine and offers a 15% discount for club members. Children and adults of all ages including the youngest players (baby tennis) can represent I. ČLTK Prague in competitions. Recruitment for the I. ČLTK Prague's tennis school takes place twice a year, in both spring and fall. During the summer holidays, summer tennis camps for children between 5 and 10 years of age are held under the leadership of professional trainers.
