The fall season is when the real estate Oscars are announced, and projects in Svoboda & Williams’ portfolio have caught the attention of the jurors. Best of Realty handed out prizes to the LIHOVAR and Vila ÉPOQUE residential projects, and Building of the Year went to Nové Lauby in Ostrava.
Best of Realty is organized by the Association for Real Estate Market Development to promote the most successful recently completed residential projects. Smíchov’s LIHOVAR won in the Rental Housing category. This comprehensive residential complex by Trigema offers an original lifestyle with a unique industrial atmosphere blended with cultural and gastronomic experiences. ”We saw an amazing demand for living in LIHOVAR and all 64 rental apartments that we offered were quickly rented out,” says David Šimeček, head of residential rentals at Svoboda & Williams.
The most prestigious award in the Large-Scale Residential Projects category went to Smíchov City, a city block designed by SM3 and developed by Sekyra Group, which impressed the jury with its varied architecture and seamless integration into the surrounding part of Smíchov. “The project also included a collection of rental apartments finished to a high standard. Client demand proves that this type of product is very sought-after,” states Andrea Střechová, senior property consultant at Svoboda & Williams.
In the Small-Scale Residential Projects category, the silver went to Vila ÉPOQUE from the portfolio of All New Development, which is set on a slope in desirable Malvazinky. The jury praised this boutique residence with five exclusive apartments for the high quality of the materials and technologies used in the project. However, high-end buildings don’t have to emerge at the best Prague addresses, as confirmed by Ostrava’s Nové Lauby project. In the Building of the Year awards, held by the Foundation for the Development of Architecture and Construction, it received a prize from the Ministry for Regional Development. This architecturally exceptional block of five buildings, which filled out an empty lot in the city’s historic center, offers a total of 81 apartments. Ten units remain available for those interested in stylish living in Ostrava.
