The Svoboda & Williams real estate agency sent its representatives to a charity tennis tournament in support of the Pink Crocodile School which provides education and therapy to children with severe disabilities.
The 5th annual charity tennis tournament took place at the Prague 6 RS Sports Center on September 7. Altogether 11 teams, representing Svoboda & Williams, Levey & Jung s.r.o., Chapman Taylor, Auto Palace, Red Bull, Ariba, Bon Repos, ema, BMW, Deloitte, JLL, Clifford Chance, Hokosoft and Presidia Consult, took part in the tournament. The winners of the charity tournament were Karolína Štuchlová and Martin Šustr from BMW who beat the Hokosoft team in the final with the Red Bull team coming third. All the proceeds from the tournament which will go to the special needs children from the Pink Crocodile School amounted to 70 000 Czech crowns this year.
“Participation in these type of events has, as we see it, key significance as they are a way to support the local community and contribute to great causes. We are especially fond of this tournament as it supports a real estate project – founding and running a school for disabled children,” says Richard Meier who, along with Brent Watkins represented the colors of Svoboda & Williams at this year's Pink Crocodile Tennis Cup. “Through this regular fundraising event and other support we have managed to found, open and operate the Pink Crocodile School for one year now,” says Ulrike Schneider from the Pink Crocodile charity organisation, confirming the significance of the event. “Through tennis or other initiatives, small or big in kind, we are always happy for any support,” adds Schneider.
