Špindl’s New Competition Emerging in Bedřichov: Invest in Stylish Family Apartments

At the center of this boutique mountain residential complex is the building of a former People’s House, located in the heart of the village. Its complete reconstruction into modern housing with 7 apartments will be complemented by a new building with 9 additional units, a common room for residents, and retail space, and finally two luxury chalets with its own wellness and relaxation zone.

The Lidový Dům project is being developed by Niseko, which specializes in boutique projects in mountain settings. “The location must captivate us enough to make us want to live there or spend our weekends there,” explains the owner of the company Adam Kuchař when he discusses the parameters that Niseko uses to select locations. He has a personal attachment to Bedřichov—it’s his hometown. “It seems to us that Bedřichov is now more popular than Špindl. When you have small children, the Jizera Mountains are ideal in summer for bike riding and hikes, and in winter cross-country or downhill skiing,” says Kuchař about Niseko’s ambitious plans in this mountain resort. In addition to the extensive residential development, representing a benchmark of the premium segment in the location, they also include the revitalization of the local ski slopes.  

The first phase of Lidový Dům will be finished in spring 2025.
