Celínka, a unique residential project on Elišky Krásnohorské Street, received final approval in the summer of 2019 and all of its eight apartments are currently being enjoyed by their new owners. One of the units was created by the renowned Mimolimit architectural studio led by Bára Škorpilová, who reimagined the atmosphere of the 1920s and 1930s with a fresh, contemporary approach.
The assignment was to transform the 240 sq. m. unit into a “men’s” apartment with one bedroom and a study. “We selected contrasting colors that optically enlarged the space. The material that connects everything in the interior is stone in various finishes combined with wood, metal patinas, and textiles, such as velvet, linen, silk, as well as leather and carpets,” explained Škorpilová in an interview that came out in the Selected online magazine.
