Three quarters of a year after launching, Svoboda & Williams is announcing that 1,600 sq. m. of Offices Unlimited’s shared office space located in the myhive Pankrác House administrative building are now 100% occupied. The speed in which the space, whose administration and marketing was entrusted to the Svoboda & Williams real estate agency, reached full capacity confirms that coworking and shared offices aren’t just a passing trend.
The full occupancy of myhive Flexi Offices demonstrates the growing popularity of this type of work environment. Compared to standard offices, shared offices still occupy a small share of the office space market. Nevertheless, this segment has great potential for further expansion and development. According to Savills, in 2019 the total floor area of the office space on the Prague property market increased by 138%.
“The concept of shared offices and coworking space is ideal for freelancers, startups, and small companies, but also for corporations that are looking for temporary space for their teams. Due to the fact that more and more entities prefer flexible lease terms when searching for new offices, we managed to fully book the entire space in myhive Pankrác House in less than 9 months,“ says Kateřina Burešová, Flexible Workspace Consultant at Svoboda & Williams.
The long-term tenants of myhive Flexi Offices include, among others, the office of Senator Prof. Ing. Jiří Drahoš, the Mountpark company, and the Bydlíme snadno startup, which initially rented 30 sq. m. and now leases four times as much space. Its latest tenants are the UltimateSuite, Ulead Media Group, City Support, Neocont, or Green Light Solutions companies.
