The Eatery

Located in the popular neighborhood of Holešovice that is situated in the north of Prague, The Eatery is a highly regarded restaurant that gives you big bang for your buck. Its name is simple, the interior is simple – and acts as a tribute to Prague 7’s industrial past – but the food is anything but simple. The menu evolves from day to day, based on seasonal fresh produce, and is accompanied by a great wine list. 

The Eatery offers counter seating where you can watch the culinary magic happen in the open kitchen, and even have a friendly chat with the chefs. The visual performance of it all is intriguing, and its inspiring to see the efficiency of the staff under the watchful eye of Head Chef Pavel Byček. After finishing culinary school and working in England in several restaurants, including the Michelin-starred Galvin at Windows, and with the legend of French gastronomy, Pierre Koffmann, Pavel Byček returned to the Czech Republic and joined the fabled Alcron restaurant in Prague first as Sous Chef, then later as Head Chef. At Alcron, he defended their Michelin Star for five consecutive years. Now he’s at The Eatery and Prague 7 is better for it. Everything served at The Eatery is prepared from scratch using the best ingredients from their selected suppliers, farmers and small producers.
