Eska

Eska is a café, bakery and restaurant, wrapped up all into one in Prague’s Forum Karlín, a converted fabric factory.

The stark interior is a real treat for lovers of industrial architecture, think exposed bricks and pipes, and the open kitchen only adds to the atmosphere. Eska simply shines with their famous breakfast menu and lunch specials, all made with local high quality ingredients. As a bonus, breakfast is served until late in the afternoon, making this the perfect place for those who love a good egg dish. Every day the bakers at Eska make bread, rolls, buns, cakes, and pies from seasonal ingredients. Their famous breads, including Bread 66 (dense bread with 66% rye flour, a crispy crust and lovely cumin flavor) and Bread 33 (classic Czech bread, 33% rye flour, the rest wheat), are simply put, delicious. Bread 66 is baked only on Fridays and is available until sold out. Eska serves delectable, rich coffee drinks that are made with Nordbeans from the Liberec roaster. Furthermore, you can purchase not only baked goods to go but also farm products and raw materials. Whether you visiting Eska for breakfast or lunch, or just popping in for a loaf of bread, you cannot go wrong with this culinary gem.
