In the past he worked for the studio of Viktor Rudiš at Stavoprojekt Brno, at the architectural office of professor Wilhelm Holzbauer in Vienna and at Architekti Hrůša & Pelčák, Ateliér Brno. He is also the holder of the main prize of the Grand Prix Architektů, a national architecture award in the category of Landscape Architecture and Garden Design for the reconstruction of Brno's Denisovy Sady park, as well as other awards, and was nominated twice for the Miese van der Rohe Award.
